What is the Grief Recovery Method?
The Grief Recovery Method is a 7 week structured programme through which you discover the steps you can take to heal your broken heart.
I offer the first session free so that you have the chance to find out more about the programme and decide whether you would like to do this tender work with me.

Evidence Based
The Grief Recovery Method is a 7-step programme that has been subject to scientific scrutiny. It demonstrably helps grievers recover after an experience of loss.
Are We a Fit?
The Grief Recovery Method programme is an evidence-based programme that has been helping grievers for fifty years, across forty countries.
The Grief Recovery Method helped me move on from domestic abuse, devastating court proceedings, bereavement, and other more intangible losses, like the loss of faith. It is a peer-led programme, so I teach by example.
Where are you in your grief journey?
- You may have been bereaved yesterday and you are in the throes of despair and pain.
- Your experience of loss may have occurred years ago.
- You don’t think of yourself as a griever but you feel dissatisfied because your life is not as happy as you would like it to be.
The key to finding peace through the Grief Recovery Method is your willingness to look at your grief, wherever you are on your grief journey, and take the action steps to bring peace to your heart.
Do you have the time?
The Grief Recovery Method is a 7-session programme. Each session lasts between 30 and 90 minutes, and there is reading and exercises to complete between sessions.
Can you afford it?
I charge £720 for the whole course, the first is free to give you the opportunity to find out if it is right for you. It can be paid up front, or per session. There is the opportunity to continue with more sessions to implement what you have learnt with my support. Each graduate session is half price at £60.
I also offer group sessions that can be accessed through EventBrite.

Are you a parent, uncle, aunty, teacher, nurse, youth worker, foster carer, nursery nurse, juvenile detention officer, or meet with young people in your personal or professional life in any other way?
It is part of our responsibility to raise the next generation with the emotional resources to navigate the pain of grief and yet, in modern society, adults are poorly resourced to provide this guidance.
I trained as a children’s nurse at the world famous children’s hospital in London, Great Ormond Street, and still found myself lacking in these skills.
I am delighted to bring to you the Helping Children with Loss programme, based on the book, When Children Grieve. It is a 4 week course that runs regularly through the year and up-skills caregivers to provide emotionally mature support to children who are experiencing loss.
If you would like to discover how to instil emotional resilience in the next generation, please get in touch.
Grieving the death of an animal companion can be hard when our friends and family don’t understand our grief or judge it to be inappropriate.
