Thank you for applying to train with Dandelion – The Academy for Death Planning and Preparation.

Professional values-led education in death planning and personal preparation.

This year-long programme prepares facilitators to accompany individuals, families and communities in practical death planning and personal preparation. Rooted in compassion, respect and creativity, the Academy integrates clear guidance on legal and practical matters with reflective, embodied and ethical formation.

Over fourteen weeks of live teaching, supported by self-directed learning and graduate supervision, participants develop the confidence, discernment and professional grounding required to work responsibly in end-of-life settings.

This training is designed for those who feel called to accompany others in confronting death directly and thoughtfully — including death doulas, hospice volunteers, chaplains, pastoral workers and community companions.

The programme takes place online, with structured live sessions, guided study and ongoing collegial support through the Dandelion Practitioners’ Circle.

We look forward to learning more about your experience, your intentions, and what draws you to this work.
